Franklin Johnson, the founder and CEO of Franklin Johnson Commercial Real Estate, is a Fayetteville NC native with strong hometown roots. He graduated from Elon College in 1979 with a degree in business Administration and returned to Fayetteville to go in business with his father. For 15 years he managed his family’s farming interests across Cumberland and Bladen counties.
In 1994, Franklin began a full-time professional career in real estate and is a licensed broker with the state of North Carolina. Since entering the profession, Franklin has developed an extensive tract record in all aspects of commercial real estate. He has successfully represented property owners, developers, investors, and corporate clients across eastern North Carolina.
His desire to offer excellent service and to deliver positive outcomes for his clients forms the foundation of his business philosophy. Franklin’s knowledge and understanding of the local commercial market is unmatched in this community.
Malinda Craven was born and raised in Fayetteville and graduated from UNC-Chapel with a BA in Psychology and Industrial Relations. She has been a real estate broker since 1997 and has worked every aspect of the industry representing sellers, buyers, investors, landlords and tenants in both the residential and commercial markets. She uses her expertise and local market knowledge to guide both national and local clients in their real estate needs. She is a member of the National Association of Realtors, the Fayetteville Regional Association of Realtors, and the Realtors Commercial Alliance of Southeastern North Carolina.
Before real estate Malinda was a Co-Founder of Smooth Travel a local travel agency. She helped guide the agency from zero to $9,000,000 in sales in 2 years. This company start up gave her management, marketing, public relations, and sales experience that certainly carries over to the real estate business.
Malinda has served on numerous local community boards and organizations including the Junior League of Fayetteville, the Arts Council, the Chamber of Commerce, the Fayetteville Area Economic and Development Commission, Wachovia Bank Board of Directors, the Cancer Center, The Child Advocacy Center, The Salvation Army’s Christmas Opportunity, and CEED when it began as the Women’s Center. She is a member of Highland Presbyterian Church, has 3 children, and is married to husband Rich.
